As proud HBCU alumni, Soror Worrell and her husband founded The HBCU Nation to promote HBCU Excellence, Innovation, and Sustainability — building capacity for our nation's Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Rather than waiting for an invitation, they created the table: launching the HBCU Nation Radio Show, HBCUiRadio, and HBCU Smart TV as platforms that amplify HBCU voices, stories, and achievements on a national stage.
HBCU Smart TV is available on ROKU and Amazon Fire TV.
Acknowledging that everyone deserves the opportunity for upward mobility, Soror Worrell and her partners created the space for others to thrive. Be Prepared America launched U.S. Department of Labor-registered Apprenticeship Programs providing pathways in technology for women and minorities underrepresented in the industry — earning DOL-approved certifications in Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Healthcare Information Technology.
